Limited Lifetime Warranty For Fiberglass Doors

PRODUCT WARRANTY

WARRANTY COVERAGE
The Santa Cruz Fiberglass Door, as distributed by Streuli Sales, Inc. is guaranteed free of defects in material or workmanship that might unreasonably affect its performance. The terms of this warranty extend from the first date of purchase at retail by the user for Limited LifetimeWarranty. This warranty is for the original user and is non-transferable.

EXCLUSION FROM COVERAGE
The terms of this expressed warranty exclude failures which are the result of or involve:

• Accident, abuse or improper use,
• Stress due to localized application of heat, movement of building or building components, or expansion or contraction of building or building components,
• Damage due to freight carriers, common carriers, private transportation, or any other means of
  transportation or handling, after shipment from Streuli Sales, Inc.,
• Misapplication, faulty building construction or design, including but not limited to installation or use in areas of high humidity or high vibration,
• Exposure of the Santa Cruz Fiberglass Door, itself, to the elements, improper or insufficient handling, storage, installation, maintenance or service,
• Fire, corrosive fumes, condensation damage, acts of God, and / or any events or actions beyond the control of Streuli Sales, Inc.,
• All components, parts, glass and labor supplied by parties other than Streuli Sales, Inc. or its agents.
  

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
In the event of a warranty claim, written notice of the defect must be sent by certified U.S. Mail to Streuli Sales, Inc., 8221 Tyner Road, Colfax, NC 27235 immediately upon the discovery of the defect and only within the original warranty period. The written notice must include the following:

• Door catalog number and description
• Name and address of the owner and the installer
• Proof of sale
• Date of the owner’s purchase
• Place of purchase and from whom purchased
• Detailed explanation of defect.
  

REMEDIES
If Streuli Sales, Inc. believes the Santa Cruz Fiberglass Door is defective within the terms of the warranty, Streuli Sales, Inc. will either (a) repair the Santa Cruz Fiberglass Door without charge, (b) furnish a replacement Santa Cruz Fiberglass Door from stock (installation of the replacement door not included), or (c) refund the purchase price of the Santa Cruz Fiberglass Door in lieu of furnishing a replacement. If Streuli Sales, Inc. elects to provide a replacement, the limited warranty of the replacement will extend only for the balance of the original warranty period. If the homeowner fails to provide satisfactory proof of the date of purchase, the date of manufacture shall be used instead.

LIMITATION OF REMEDIES
The remedies set forth herein are the homeowner’s exclusive remedies for breach of warranty. In no case shall Streuli Sales, Inc. be liable to the homeowner or any other person for any general, incidental or consequential damages. There is no other warranty, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except as is set forth herein. No distributor, dealer or Streuli Sales, Inc. representative has the authority to change or modify this warranty and in no instance shall Streuli Sales, Inc. be responsible for indirect, consequential or incidental damages.

PRE-STAINED PRODUCT WARRANTY

PRE-STAINED DOOR WARRANTY COVERAGE
The Santa Cruz Fiberglass Door, Pre-Stained Door, as distributed by Streuli Sales, Inc., is guaranteed to be free of defects against fading of the stain or stain peeling off the door. The terms of this Pre-Stained warranty extend from the first date of purchase at retail by the user for a two-year warranty. This warranty is for the original user and is non-transferable.

EXCLUSION FROM COVERAGE
The terms of this expressed warranty exclude failures which are the result of or involve:

• Fading of the stain color applied to the door after a period of two years,
• Peeling of the stain on the door after a period of two years,
• Damage due to freight carriers, common carriers, private transportation, or any other means of transportation or handling, after shipment from Streuli Sales, Inc.,
• Fire, corrosive fumes, condensation damage, acts of God, and / or any events or actions beyond the control of Streuli Sales, Inc., including personal negligence,
• It is recommended as normal maintenance to reapply the topcoat every two years.
